Tropeaka Protein & Powders Review - What Savvy Said (2024)

When it comes to food, I’m constantly trying new things. I love to peruse the aisles of the grocery story to see what new and inventive things have hit shelves. But protein powder is one of the places I don’t try new things often. Maybe it’s the investment in such large quantities at a time. I hate to waste a giant tub if I don’t like it and won’t drink it. Plus it’s hard to hide a bad protein powder. If it’s chocolate or other less tasty superfood powders *I’m looking at youashwaganda*I know I can melt it or use less and build up to the taste. Yet there’s just something about a giant scoop of protein powder you can’t hide.

For the last few years, I’ve been loyal to Arbonne’s Vanilla Protein. And to be honest, it’s still one of the best tasting ones I’ve tried hands down. If you’re buying it retail, it’s a bit pricey but Arbonne memberships aren’t too expensive and are easily worth the discount. Unfortunately, my loyalty to my faithful vanilla powder is no more. Because I have a malt sensitivity and the powder has maltodextrin, it had to go. So off on a mission to find a new protein I went and quickly discovered Tropeaka.

If you’re new to Tropeaka or a need a little bit of background, they are an Australian based company. Their powders range from matcha to protein powder and everything in between. They also feature a few I’d never heard of before discovering the company like coconut water powder and an immunity blend which is a mix of several superfoods. But if you’re looking for a one-stop shop for all your powders, Tropeaka is the place to go.

Despite being an Australian based company, they do ship to the US. You’ll pay for shipping costs but the prices are fairly reasonable considering how far the product is traveling. Plus the turn around is fairly quick. Even with all the hurricane madness last month, I still got my order quickly and with consistent updates. And if use the code TENOFF, you can get 10% off your first order. (Updated note: if you give them a shoutout on social media after your first order, they might even send you another discount code.)

Now before I get into the breakdown of the products I’ve tried, I need to give a disclaimer. I’m not currently using the protein powder. This isn’t to say I didn’t enjoy it or that it isn’t good. Trust me. I wanted to be able to use it. But that pesky cinnamon sensitivity of mine won out and made Tropeaka lean & pump proteins not at option. However, I still plan on trying the boost powder.

Which Tropeaka products did I try?

I tried the Lean Vanilla Protein, Coconut Water Powder, Acai Powder and Alkalizing Greens.

What’s the price?

The largest sizes of protein powders are consistent with the cost of a big bottle of Vega Protein*. And most of the powders range from $20-$50 USD depending on the size you get.

What’s the shipping like?

I spent about $25 USD for all my products. So I’d recommend placing an order for everything at once. In the age of amazon, I know I struggle to justify spending anything on shipping. But the quality of the products and the range of products available makes it worth it for me. And most of the time, if you have a discount code it will end up taking off around the same amount that your shipping costs.

Who are Tropeaka products for?

Anyone who wants to live their healthiest life. They are definitely one of the cleanest companies. One of my favorite things about Tropeaka products are their ingredient lists. There are no crazy words or chemicals. No added sugars. No gluten. Just amazing quality products that help you get the most nutrition in your diet.

Can I get Tropeaka in stores?

I don’t believe they have storefronts at this time. But if they did, I would imagine they would be in Australia.

Can I get a sample?

This kind of goes with the question above. As of now, I don’t think it’s available. But personally I think a sample pack of the products would be amazing.

Will I use Tropeaka again?

Yes! I plan on doing a reorder for larger sizes of all my powders and trying a few more. If you saw my acai bowl recipe post, you’ll know I’ve been using all three in there. They’ve become a regular staple to my smoothies and I’m definitely obsessed.

So there you have it friends. My round-up and new found love of all things Tropeaka. If you’re unsure about products, they do have more than one size available to order so you can always opt to start smaller. It’s what I did and now I’m wishing I’d gone with the large ones! Have you tried any Tropeaka products? What did you think? Leave me a comment below and let me know.
