Racist movie
Racist movie! Why is it okay for a black woman to say her family “will not be like every other STUPID WHITE FAMILY!” Can you imagine if the tables were turned. Blacks (since they referred to caucasians by the color of their skin) would be suing over this and the movie would be labeled a work of hate and bigotry. I’m tired of the double standards. This is coming from a BROWN American (apparently it’s okay to go by skin color and not race as long as you’re not too white).

A nice racist movie, if you're into that sort of thing.
Pretty racist. Lots of hate against white people. Not cool, keep trying to push that divide, Hollywood. More foul language then needed. This could have been a fun family movie.

Racist claptrap
Racist heap of trash! So it's OK for a black woman to say "we're not going to be like every stupid white family " ? If it was reversed there would be an uproar.

Racist
RACIST. I could never imagine talking so distastefully about another race like they do against white folk. The things they say in this movie have a lot of hate and grow a bigger divide between people. Movies like this are part of the problem. So disappointed in this type of behavior and shouldn’t be tolerated for any race. DO BETTER NETFLIX

Blatant agenda
Honestly, all the other parents said everything I was thinking. Quite shocking really with the obvious agenda to promote woke culture and racism. Turned it off halfway through because my 16 year old was over it. So disappointing as I really liked a couple of the actors and surprised they would even consider being in this movie.

Add's to the racial divide purposely demonising and putting down white people. Poorly written.
If it wasn't for the "We're not going to be like every other stupid white family in a horror movie" and other racist remarks and representations, I'd say it was an enjoyable watch with a nice twist at the end. If it was a remark about ethnic people it would be unacceptable so why allow this in the movie? Shame on the writer. Really didn't need to go there. Didn't need to make the Dad have an aggressive past, didn't need to point out racial stereotypes as they do and didn't need to swear so much. Could have been a great family movie for 9+ but writers let it down.Won't be letting my kid watch this.

Obnoxious Characters and Forced Racism towards white people.
I Had to stop watching it half way through, I got fed up with how out of place and unlikable the characters where.. The only 2 I Cared for was the Leading young Man & The Ghost. The rest where Obnoxious, Unlikeable and lets be honest, Racist towards White people. They added a Half Asian girl into the story for 5 seconds of "People are being racist and calling me for rice" trope which I've never ever heard growing up and neither have any of my Asian friends. The dad is also against his sons Music taste just because he looks up to a white Guitarist. This is just "Oh hate him because he's white" rubbish. The mother also states along the lines of "I don't want to be like any stupid white family" So we are automatically stupid for being white? Thanks racist show.Removing the elements of Race they also treat their youngest child like dirt, The dad trying to be "Hip" and "cool" by showing off for his oldest kid and throwing an orange right at his sons head? Awful awful parenting. This show was a waste of time, I was looking forward to a "Comedy horror Vibe" as It's been a while since all the scary movie films, But this let me down massively.Go Woke Go Broke is all I can say.

Unnecessarily nasty line made us ghost this movie
“We are not going to be like every stupid white family in every horror movie,” rubbed me the wrong way, even if it's relating to the actual stats of horror movies. It just seems so unnecessarily nasty. We stopped watching it after that. Everything up to that point was pretty lackluster.

It's just hateful against whites. It's racist. It tries too hard to be "woke".
