The Fair runs from June 12 – July 7 and is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Fair Tripper tickets include admission to the San Diego County Fair, a round-trip ride on the NCTD COASTER, SPRINTER, BREEZE and MTS Trolley or bus to the Solana Beach COASTER Station for a reduced fee. Tickets are available for day of use sale only on the PRONTO app and at NCTD or MTS ticket vending machines located at COASTER, SPRINTER and Trolley stations (no advanced sales).
Fair Tripper also includes a free shuttle ride from the Solana Beach COASTER Station to the Del Mar Fairgrounds and back.
If you are using MTS Trolley, transfer from the UC San Diego Blue Line or the Green Line to the COASTER at Santa Fe Depot or the Old Town Transit Center. Ride COASTER to the Solana Beach COASTER Station. Then take the FREE shuttle directly to the fairgrounds.

What to Know Before You Go
Boarding Train/Bus
Train crews/bus operators will conduct a visual inspection of your Fair Tripper paper ticket or app. Keep your Fair Tripper paper ticket or have your digital ticket in your PRONTO app available for inspection during your transit trip and for Fair admission.
Free Fair Shuttles
Free Fair shuttles are available for Fair Trippers between the Solana Beach COASTER Station and the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Shuttles will run continuously and arrive approximately every 15 minutes. Fair shuttles are ADA accessible.
Real-time Updates
Fair Trippers are encouraged to visit real-time updates.
Bus Route 308
If taking BREEZE Route 308, get off at Via De La Valle and Valley Avenue and access the Fair from the front entrance.
*There will be no special, direct BREEZE bus service to the fairgrounds or the Solana Beach COASTER Station.
Lost Tickets
Fair Tripper tickets are non-refundable and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
