We are pleased to share news of our recent Carnilove partnership with TRAILDOG Events, an initiative started by Katie Kirkup that hosts canicross events across the North East of England.TRAILDOG Events offers the chance for owners and dogs to bond in the wild whilst running through some of Northumberland's most stunning locations. As partners, we provide participants with well earned treats in their goody bags at the end of each event.TRAILDOG Events hosted their last event at the end of March at the beautiful Kielder Waterside, where participants took part in either a 10k or half marathon. The three series winners who came top across the five events in the season won trophies and a selection of delicious Carnilove treats and food. This #NationalPetDay we celebrate the life of Carnilove Ambassador and Rescue Husky, Balto. 🐕 Balto was a therapy dog who sadly passed away just days before he was due to be awarded at Crufts for ‘Rescue Dog Hero 2024’. He will be recognised for his heroic deeds, which included visiting care homes with Canineconcern, hospitals and schools. He also supported the mental health and wellbeing of officers and civilian staff at Humberside Police as a Wellbeing Dog.
